Counselling MBACP (Accred)

How I Work

The way that I work is best described as holistic and humanistic. This approach means that I see the whole person as important – your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health and well-being are all connected. I also believe that your own experience of life is unique to you.

I will offer you a safe, supportive space in which to explore your concerns and I will listen to you with warmth, with empathy and with no judgement. Through a therapeutic relationship with me, you can explore any difficulties that you are experiencing and I will support you in working out how to overcome these.

I am an experienced counsellor working with a variety of clients with a wide range of issues. I currently work in private practice in Lewes – I work face to face as well as over the telephone. I am also an experienced EMDR practitioner - please click here for more details about EMDR.

I am an Accredited Member of the BACP – British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I undertake regular clinical supervision.

Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Anger, Bereavement, Loss, Complex Grief, Trauma, Abuse, Eating Disorders, Divorce and Separation, Shame, Narrative, Narcissism, Relationships, Existential Crisis, Finding Direction, Managing Illness, Isolation, Loneliness, Difficult Feelings, Low Mood, Feeling Overwhelmed, Major Life Events, Shock, Sadness, Loss of Meaning.

As well as counselling, I work as a clinical health professional for AXA Healthcare as part of their Employee Assistance Programme. I am also a BUPA registered practitioner.
