What is homeopathy

Homeopathy is a natural, safe and gentle system of medicine used by millions worldwide. It is based on the principle that ‘like cures like’ – a substance taken in small amounts can cure the same symptoms that occur when the substance is taken in larger quantities. This idea was written about by Hippocrates and is used in other systems of medicine today, including conventional vaccinations and allergy treatments.

Homeopathic remedies work holistically and are tailored to each unique individual to stimulate the body’s own healing mechanism. Homeopathy can help treat acute and chronic conditions in both the young and old. It is safe for babies and pregnant women and can be used alongside conventional medicines.

Before training as a homeopath, Jo worked as a communications specialist for several high-profile charities, campaigning for human rights, peace and the environment. She is committed to a natural and ethical approach to life and is passionate about helping people enjoy a healthier and more harmonious life.

Jo is about to graduate after four years of rigorous training at the prestigious School of Homeopathy. For a limited period only, she is offering appointments at a reduced rate. Each consultation will be discussed with Jo’s clinical supervisor, Anita Wicks, a Brighton-based homeopath with over 25 years experience. This means you get double the attention, but there may be a short delay of a few days before you receive your remedy.
