Daisy Duval Counsellor

Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counsellor
(MBACP accredited)

Hello, I am Daisy. Since 2020, I have practised as a humanistic psychotherapeutic counsellor, following a career as a primary school teacher. I am also a mother, a daughter, a sister, a partner, a friend, and a fellow human-being.

Counselling is an opportunity to explore what it is like and what it means to be uniquely you. My aim is not to provide a solution to your problems, but to offer a warm and compassionate space in which we can explore the issues that you bring with an openness to the possibility of being vulnerable and developing resilience.

With curiosity about whatever we notice in the here-and-now experience of being human together, we can uncover meaning and potential for change.

I have worked with young people and students, women who have a history of trauma, and people working in the performing arts. I have worked with people experiencing a range of emotional and relational difficulties, including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief and loss, and other forms of distress in the complex spectrum of human suffering.

I work with adult individuals either face-to-face or online on an open-ended or fixed-term basis.

Please, get in touch if you would like to arrange an initial face-to-face session or a free 20-minute online consultation - for us to get a sense of each other and for you to decide if I could be the right fit for you as your therapist.
